Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by SUNAD Electrical Appliance Repair L.L.C (Trade Licence No. 1606534, issued by the Department of Economy & Tourism, Dubai (DET)) to answer common privacy questions about our services in the United Arab Emirates. It is not a certification or audit statement.

1. Data controller

SUNAD Electrical Appliance Repair L.L.C (One-Person Limited Liability Company (LLC-SO)), Trade Licence No. 1606534, Commercial Register No. 2819516, Dubai Chamber Membership No. 674185, with registered office at Office No. 106, Garhoud-OFF106, Al Garhoud, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp, or during a repair visit.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us or book a repair, we may collect: your full name, mobile or landline number, email address (if provided), the address in the UAE where the appliance is located, the appliance brand, model, serial number, and a description of the fault. We do not collect payment-card details on this website; in-person payments are processed by independent banks and payment terminals.

3. Purposes & legal basis

We process your information only to: (a) schedule and carry out the requested repair, (b) communicate with you about the booking, (c) issue tax invoices and warranty certificates as required by UAE Federal Tax Authority rules, (d) honour the 180-day warranty, and (e) improve service quality. The legal basis is performance of the service contract you request and our compliance with UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

4. Sharing

We share information only with: the technicians assigned to your job; the manufacturer or its UAE-authorised distributor when an original spare part must be sourced; our accountants for tax and bookkeeping; and competent UAE authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal information and we do not transfer it outside the UAE for marketing purposes.

5. Retention

Customer service records are retained for the duration of the 180-day warranty and for a minimum of five (5) years thereafter to comply with the UAE bookkeeping and VAT record-keeping obligations under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 and Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017. After this period the records are securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights under UAE PDPL

You may request access to, correction of, restriction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing. To exercise any of these rights, call us on +971 4 269 4442. We will respond within thirty (30) days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

7. Cookies & analytics

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics that profile individual visitors. If we introduce analytics in the future, this page will be updated and, where required, your consent obtained.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to customer records is limited to authorised employees of SUNAD Electrical Appliance Repair L.L.C on a need-to-know basis.
